I thought a little acrostic poem would ease the awkwardness of just jumping in and introducing myself. So as the bold letters suggest, my name is Laila!
I’m a foodaholic. Seriously. I used to be able to eat way more than I can fit into my stomach these days, but I definitely don’t love food any less. I firmly believe that everything tastes better with cheese in or on it. I couldn’t tell you my favorite cuisine because it changes all the time. My current obsession [as of 9/20] is Mexican food (mmmm, chicken fajitas). There’s something about finding hole-in-the-wall Momma n Poppa restaurants with deliciously cheap(er) food that makes me really really happy. I’m kind of selfish when it comes to sharing my findings though. I would have to reaaaalllly like you. Guess I’m indie like that. Ha.
If some friends had to describe me, they would say I’m all over the place (in a stretched-thin kind of way). I think it’s because I have a lot going on school, work, family-wise, but yet always manage to pull through with nothing short of excellence. I just take it as a compliment 
I’m almost done with school and it has been a long time coming. I believe I will graduate either in Summer 2012 or Fall 2012. I hope I am able to keep up this blog long after taking this class. I’ve created blogs in the past, but never was consistent with updating them. Probably because I wasn’t getting graded for it, LOL.
Anyway, that’s a little excerpt of who I am. I have way too many interests (and disinterests) to list. I may update the ‘About Me’ from time to time since I’m always discovering something new about myself in this crazy thing called Life
