Vegetarian Diets Are Not Necessarily “Healthy”

I’m concerned.

People think “vegetarianism” is the absolute healthiest diet out there. Vegetarians swear off meats and any foods that originate or derive from meat products (milk, eggs, cheese, etc), but what people don’t know is that the body actually needs meat or at least its protein properties in order to meet the body’s recommended levels of protein to function.

According to newtreatments.org, “a healthy diet may be possible, but must be entirely raw”. What do they mean by this? Well, they go on to explain that  ”You can’t eat grains or beans raw, so these are excluded from the diet immediately. Instead you will need to eat more fats: Raw butter and cream are the best. ” Basically, cooking (heat) breaks down nutritional/protein properties so it does not allow for the same nutrients as raw food.
